The Witness says that she had seen two people beat up but not even the war crimes indictee at Istog

“Dulle Pejcinovic and Zoran Jolic are starting to beat Zef Maleseyjen”, said witness Markovic, reports “Justice Trust”.

According to her, the event had occurred in May 1998 and that she had seen how much she had been guarding the cows.

Witness Markovic said that the accused Jolick had known him as a neighbor and a tree dealer.

“Po e kufidated earlier by neighbourhoods, he was a salesman of trees and vegetables in the market”, witness Markovic said.

In addition, she said that persons Dulle Pejcinovic, Zoran Jolic, had worked in the police, adding that when he heard the accused Joliq had been arrested in connection with the incident, he was sorry and had submitted to come to testify because the accused Joliq was innocent.

Witness Markovic also said how well the accused Joliq was aware he had started working in the police in late 1998.

At the start of the trial hearing, chaired by Judge Musa Kondzhel, rejected indictee Joliq's proposal, lawyer Miodrag Brklajq for witness hearing Zoran Jolic and Vuqko Pejcinovic, arguing that communication or international criminal co-operation were lacking between the state of Kosovo and Serbia.

Regarding witness Momir Pantiq the court allowed his hearing because the same even though he was suspected of war crimes in another case he was not mentioned in this case where the damaged is Zef Malesija.

The Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo (PSRK) on November 18th, 2022, has filed charges against indictees Caslav Jolic with the argument that during the time of the Kosovo war, in co-ordination with others, violating international law rules, applied torture measures and causing great suffering or violation of body integrity or health against the civilian population that have not directly participated in conflicts over war-related causes.
