Germany's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has come up with an announcement of the meeting that German top diplomat Annalena Baerbock had with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti on Friday.
The announcement reportedly came three weeks before the meeting of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers, where it will be voted for Kosovo's membership in this organisation.
German MPJ points out that at the Baerbock and Kurti meeting, they have talked about how the road to Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe can be opened.
“A little less than three weeks until the CoE Committee of Ministers in Strasbourg. Backock discussed Albin Kurti in the #petersberg24 margins on how to open the way for Kosovo's membership in KiE”, the German MPJ report said.
In a response to Gazeta Express from the German Embassy this week, official Berlin has announced that, like France, it requires Kosovo to take concrete steps regarding the establishment of association.
