Volunteer: The truth of the Serbian Contemporary Bank that Bajrami launched promotes series of VV spokesman reactions

The Kosovo Central Bank announced yesterday that it has voluntarily completed its banking service activity with Komercijalna Banka AD Belgrade branch in Mitrovica.

The CEC has said that the move results from the monitoring dialogue in the August-September 2023 period, which resulted in the Plan for Volunteering.

“This plan after review received the CEC's consent with the 6th of October 2023, to conclude later with the decision of January 9th, 2024, to closing branches and all sub-designs in the Republic of Kosovo, effective from January 31st, 2024. Komercijalna AD Belgrade branch in Mitrovica was licensed by the CEC for operation in 2007 and operated with the branch in Mitrovica and eight sub-deges on Kosovo territory”, the Central Bank report said.

As the ruling party started to share this information as a political victory, LDK deputy Mrs.Hykmete Bajrami reacted by writing:

For informing everyone,

The closure of the Commercial Bank of Serbia, which in Kosovo has operated since the past war as a bank licensed by the BQC, has been closed today because it has been more than three years since the Comercial Bank in Serbia and its filiaries have bought it. NLB Slovenia, which, as you know, has a license in Kosovo and with current law, an operator is not allowed to have two licenses.

So the closure of the Commercial Bank has nothing to do with the government's actions and the CEC, it's been a natural act that has already begun since the sale of this bank, through voluntary liquidation.

I only wish that politicisation of this issue, at this moment, does not open the possibility for a new license, another Serbian bank in Kosovo! ”

In this reaction to Bajram, Vetevendosje spokesman Arlind Manjuka, There's been a series of counter-removements, among which, one says so:
