Plenkovic in Banjska's case: The Kosovo war almost started- Serbia

Croatia's Prime Minister, Andrej Plenkovic, has said that in Kosovo “almost didn't start war”. “Four and a half months ago there have been such tensions in Kosovo that nearly war between Kosovo and Serbia”, Plenkovic said, when asked whether at the HDZ party meeting, military service was discussed.
He cited Russian invasion in Ukraine, Hamas' attack on Israel, and Israeli forces' subsequent attacks on Hamas, but also other conflicts around the world.
If we look at tensions across other countries in our neighbourhood, if we see threats caused by illegal migration... then a word comes to focus and that is security”, Croatian Prime Minister Večernji list said.
He added that new generations know nothing about specific skills under changing circumstances.
Therefore, he said the introduction of certain mandatory military service modules, which has been discussed in public recently, was not somebody's whim, but responsible behavior due to the changing security environment.
