Plans for attempted murder of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti reportedly had occurred in Skopje on Friday.

Kosovo Public Television (RTK) has reported from security sources that there has been an attempted assassination against Kosovo's prime minister, “from potential Serbian-Macedonian extreme bombers close to the Russian Federation, but under the control of Serbian institutions”.

RTK has reported today that immediately after the UN's KS meeting, they have provided evidence that Serbia has attempted the assassination of Republika Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti in Skopje, where it stayed last night.

The public medium also writes that under the Serbian terrorist plan, he has preceded a writing in Serbian media, where Serbian opposition leader Dragan Djilas is accused of meeting with Kurti.

In a statement before the media, following the return from Skopje, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has confirmed that there are plans for the assassination against him from Serbia's structures.

He said he has seen numerous police forces in Skopje during the meeting he had with the Socialist sister-in-law parties, following reports that there has been an attempt on him.

I have learned that there are many threats from individuals and structures that have their roots in official Belgrade. But I have just come from Skopje, I have not felt threatened, except I have seen many police forces who care for the Skopje meeting”, he said.

Regarding the attempted assassination against him, Kurti said he has learned there are many threats from individuals and structures who have roots in Belgrade.

“I have not felt endangered, but I have seen that there were many police forces that cared for the meeting held in Skopje”, Kurti said.

In a later statement by the prime minister, they have said threats relate to Belgrade.

Serbian Prime Minister Kurti stayed in Skopje last night after returning from the United States. But on the other hand, the Northern Macedonia Ministry of Internal Affairs has said that during Kurt's stay in Skopje there was no attempt on his murder.

“You announce that during the visit of Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo Albin Kurti to Skopje, there has been no attempt on his murder. As far as security is concerned during Prime Minister Kurti's visit, it is organised according to the predetermined rules and security assessments”, Macedonia's MPB told Euronews Albania.
