In a vehicle in Smira's Smira, police have found 29 thousand packs of cigarettes, products allegedly produced in Serbia, worth about 60 thousand euros, Express reports.
The suspect, along with the vehicle and smuggled merchandise, has been sent to the Border-Sage Control Station for further prosecution of the case
During vehicle control, police have encountered loading cigarettes of the type "Monus Slims" type: 58 large packages with a total of 29,000 packs of cigarettes. The goods are allegedly produced in Serbia, and the market value is about 60,000 euros. The suspect, along with the vehicle and the smuggled goods, has been sent to the border-burger station for further prosecution of the case. In terms of the case, all actions have been undertaken in co-operation with the State Prosecutor, where, by order of the competent prosecutor, the suspect is banned for 48 hours, while smuggled goods and the vehicle is seized and sent to the customs-Andreal terminal”, the report says.
