Referring to the 2013 deal, President Osmani and chief of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg after the meeting, has come up with various interpretations for sending special police to the north.

Any landing of special forces in the country's north should take place in co-ordination with NATO, the military alliance chief Jens Stoltenberg has said.

He has been asked whether it is the new co-ordination criterion for the Special Forces landing as it is only about the Kosovo Security Force under bilateral agreement.

Stoltenberg has replied that each landing should be in consultation.

“is not the new criterion. It's the mission base for a long time now. Any occupation of special forces requires KFOR reconciliation and needs close co-ordination and consultation between authorities in Pristina, with any kind of occupation of forces that could affect our position and security in Kosovo”, Stoltenberg has said.

But, Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has said afterwards that the 2013 agreement highlights only the KSF, and that Kosovo Police exercise office for more than two decades across the country indiscriminately.

The 2013 Agreement, focusing solely on the Kosovo Security Force, Kosovo Police have acted and exercised their own constitutional mandate throughout Kosovo's territory for more than two decades. Yesterday we celebrated the anniversary of police creation, it is the most professional and multiethnic force in the entire region. In principle, I insist that co-ordination with allies not only for the north, we have south and west, we have to work co-ordination with allies for every inch of the region due to strategic integration of Euro-Atlantic integration. Along with partners, more productive results, more peace, prosperity. We will work together because May 29th tells everyone who opposes Kosovo are against it. NATO”, Osmani stressed.
