Serbia's state is constantly making provocations to Kosovo, where it has recently brought the military near Kosovo's border, and there were numerous reactions from the US and EU.
Regarding this situation in a proposal for the Blic newspaper, the MP from the Democratic League of Kosovo, Anton Quinn, once also a member of the Commission for Security and Defence Affairs. He has stressed that the movement of Serbia's troops towards Kosovo causes uncertainty and fear towards Kosovo citizens, because they raise memories and experiences of crimes committed by the same army during wartime.
“In spite of that, the troop movement towards Kosovo causes uncertainty and fear towards Kosovo citizens, due to the fact that it creates memories and experiences of crimes committed by the same army, twenty-four years ago, on civilians and vulnerable populations, and in the other direction fuels Serbian nationalism”, he told Blic newspaper.
On the other hand, Quinn says that if Serbia's military committed aggression on Kosovo, it would suffer a deep loss from NATO troops, our allies and our forces.
If Serbia's Army committed aggression over Kosovo, it would suffer deep losses from NATO troops, our allies and our forces”, he added. He says the neutralisation of the terrorist group, after which Serbia's state authorities stood, was a major blow to the head of Serbia and terrorists.
“The Neutrisation of the terrorist group, after which Serbia's state authorities stood, was a powerful blow to terrorists themselves, but also to the head of Serbia. Therefore, with the demonstration of the police-military forces, they try to minimize the shame experienced”, Quinn said.
