A 6.8-degree Richter quake has hit Morocco, leaving at least 296 people dead.
In some photos published on the social network “X”, previously known as Twitter, buildings are seen collapseing and residents in total panic.
According to Morocco's Ministry of Internal Affairs, in addition to nearly 300 people dead, at least 150 people have been injured so far.
