The news has confirmed the deputy director of the Kosovo Police for the northern region, Veton Elshani.
The same is accused of accepting bribes and misusing office.
“Acusa to him for accepting bribes and misuse of official office was established in 2020, but police at the order of the Court in Mitrovica have requested it since 2021. It's of Serbian nationality”, he said.
After the arrest, the former police official was sent to the police station in southern Mitrovica.
