The president of the Social Democrat League of Vojvodina (LSV), Nenad Canak, has declared that there is no Serb monastery in Kosovo because they were built at the time when nations did not exist in the first place, deconstructing the Serb false vision of cultural heritage.
Canak, who has also been Serbia's MP, in a presentation to Serbian television “Steppy Tv”, has said the biggest fraud committed by Serbian authorities is the issue of the identity of the Serbian people in Kosovo, which, through counterfeiting facts, is being used for political goals.
There is no Serbian monastery in Kosovo. They are Orthodox monasteries. Orthodox manual. Then there is another thing that Serbs have adopted. In every scripture until the 20th century, people have been identified according to religion because there were no nations. The nations were founded in the 20th century”, Canak said.
Otherwise, as Serbian officials in Belgrade have alleged, there are about 1,000 and 300 churches, monasteries and other objects -- municipalities and a whole spatial body -- which, as they have always claimed, constitute the cultural heritage of the Serb people in Kosovo.
