Begaj: Kosovo cannot be missed at any international meeting

Albanian President Bajram Begaj has reiterated that the Kosovo issue is a priority for the Albanian state at international meetings. Begaj has demanded that the Kosovo situation be resolved by respecting Brussels' agreements and implementing the annexes of the Ohrid Agreement.

The president of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj, has declared that for the Albanian state Kosovo is always a priority, these statements were made during its stay in New York, following participation in the UN General Assembly.

“cannot lack Kosovo at any international meeting. It's my priority. Of course not, I'm going to double the warden. Kosovo's, but I do my job as president of the Republic of Albania and the responsibility they have for Albanians wherever they live and work. Meetings except the UN General Assembly in focus have also been linked to the Kosovo issue”, Begaj told RTK.

Begaj has also announced that at meetings at the UN General Assembly, they have discussed the situation in Kosovo. He said the only way out of disputes is dialogue and that through implementation of the agreements reached, the current situation improves.

We have discussed that the Kosovo situation should be resolved. It should be resolved by focusing more on implementing the Brussels and the dandled annexes in Ohrid. The only way out of this flu of disputes is dialogue and compromise...”, he said.

President Bajram Begaj has further added that Albania and Kosovo should join forces to work towards new recognitions, so that Kosovo can join international organisations because, according to him, it is a matter of victory of Kosovo citizens.
