One of them is the agreement on missing persons, despite the declaration reached between the two May parties, this issue has been named humanitarian.
The Garure from the Government Commission for Missing Persons says Serbia is not co-operating in dawning the fate of the missing.
Kosovo Humanitarian Law Fund Director Bekim Blakaj says there must be great pressure on Serbia due to non-co-operation on this issue
The “is very disturbing if it is true that Serbia is refusing to dig the suspected locations where mass cemeterys are located, and if so, then it would have to be a huge pressure, because excavations have occurred in the past. It has been evident that Serbia has not provided accurate information on the location of the cemetery and as an example we always take, the cemetery in Rudnica or Kizevac”, Blakaj said.
Co-operation in dawning the fate of missing persons and access to archives are obligations Serbia has pledged in the declaration reached in Brussels on 2 May.
On the basis of this statement, the Government of Kosovo has handed the first letter to Serbia on 2 June to seek archives that will help whitewash the fate of people who were forcibly missing during the war.
