Qala: In September we will file motions against Kurt government

MP from the ranks of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Rashit Qalaj, in one has spoken about the no-confidence motion, the motion initiated by the AAK.

Qalaj said that there is still no disc at the party level if they would support such a motion.

He said that a decision on the issue is expected in September.

“is not the party-level disk the issue of supporting the AAK's no-confidence motion. I believe that in September we will have meetings of the party's top structures and make a decision”, Qalaj told Blic newspaper briefly.

Meanwhile, the Democratic Party of Kosovo has indicated that the country must go to the polls as soon as possible.

The chief of the PDK Parliamentary Group, Abelard Tahiri, has declared they will not participate in any vote in the Assembly without the current legislature being dissolved.

“We participate in the vote in the Assembly, only when the Parliament” is dissolved, Tahiri said days ago.

Following the recent events in the country's north and European Union sanctions on Kosovo, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo has initiated no-confidence motion against the Kurti government.

The Alliance's “position is to initiate a no-confidence motion for Prime Minister Kurti. The motion is based on the last two developments, the first is the risk of sovereignty and security in the north and the second is the collapse of relations with the US and the EU. We'll start discussions with the political spectrum with society in general. I believe the motion is the solution for this situation. Prime Minister Kurti, instead of co-operating with the US, has made a plan of his own, has not co-operated with America but has sparked a conflict in the north conveting Serbia and Russia”, Haradinaj said a month ago
