The director of the so-called “Office for Kosovo” in Serbia's Government, Petar Petkov, has not received well the statements of the US ambassador to Kosovo, Jeffrey Havenier, who has said Kosovo is a democratic state, with existing borders. Furthermore, he has said the Serbian List is opposition parties like all opposition parties, [...]
Furthermore, he has said that the Serb List is opposition parties like all opposition parties, adding that it does not consider the Serbian political subject, but ethnic Serb parties in Kosovo.
And this has “nered”, Petkov, who in response cited Belgrade's imaginary line, under which Kosovo's “borders are Serbia”, despite Kosovo's declaring independence on February 17th 2008, being recognised by the US and most European Union states, independence confirmed by the International Court of Justice (GJND).
Petkoviqi even says he serves Serbian national interests, not those of foreign embassies.
” We know which @ U n SAmbosovoku are the borders in Kosovo, they are the borders of Serbia in line with the UN Charter and UN Resolution 1244. And the Serbian List is the choice and voice of the Serbian people protecting the national interests of their people in Kosovo, not of the foreign embassies”, has declared Petkov in the form of will, denying the reality of independent Kosovo.
