Of the countries in the region Serbia is ranked 54th, Croatia and 69th, Montenegro ranked 128th and Bosnia and Herzegovina 133th.
While the United States has the most powerful army in the world.
The assessment takes into account factors such as the amount of military equipment and soldiers in each country, but also their financial situation, logistical capacities and geographical conditions, among other things.
Based on the factors listed above, a “Power Index” is created, with a lower score showing a stronger army.
Global Firepower 2023 reviews a total of 145 world powers.
