According to him, the soldier and the policeman should not have their salary under 700 euros.
I am satisfied with the number of army recruits, but I am not satisfied with those leaving the Kosovo Army, especially with the officers who invest in them a lot, millions of euros. It's a considerable number left behind. One of the shortcomings Mehe has had to parallel other developments, invest in soldiers' standards. It's not about freezing your salary for 50 to 100 euros, but you have to invest in other conditions, social security, vital, transport, rest, clothing, etc.”, he has declared.
Kastrati has also spoken of Armend Mehaj's resignation as defence minister. He has said that the ministry has noted higher progress during its leadership, stressing that Mehej has not allowed anyone to be conducted.
The only dictatorship who has produced positive results has been the Defence Ministry with Mehej. The most important has increased co-operation with strategy partners, especially the United States.
