According to him, Japan also supports reforms aimed at Serbia's integration into the European Union.
The “Initiative for Japan's co-operation with the Western Balkans relies on two pillars. One is support for reforms aimed at integration into the European Union, while the other relates to improving regional co-operation in the Western Balkans”, he told the Serbian daily “Politika”.
The European Union is a strategic partner of Japan, and Japan hopes that Western Balkan countries will develop steadily as members of Europe”.
