He there met with Italian top diplomat Antonio Tayan, who said he briefed him on the dialogue and the necessary steps for extending the situation in the north.
“Italia is an important partner for the Western Balkans and I am grateful for the support of my mandate and work. Chief diplomat Antonio Tayan, I informed him of the situation in dialogue and the steps needed for de- escalation and return to dialogue. I can't wait to keep working together”.
Tayan also told of his country's commitment to the Western Balkans during a panel where he was a speaker, citing the work of Italian soldiers in Kosovo and Bosnia in the service of peace.
