The municipality of Gjilan, which is led by the chairman, Alban Hyseni, who comes from the ranks of Vetevendosje Movement, has announced the winners of a tender company that is under investigation.
For attorney services and legal representation, the company “has been named winner. REXHEPI ZEQIRI ZENA L.L.C”, worth 3894 euros for a year.

This company is under investigation by the Special Prosecutor because it had won a tender in KEK and that one of the owners, Isuf Zeynep He was the lawyer of the former corporate chief, Nagip Skiner.
In 2022, the Kosovo Energy Corporation had opened a tender for the engagement of a legal company. The anticipated value of this tender was 60 thousand euros, while the procedure was open. Three legal companies were applied in this tender, which had been eliminated because they were declared irresponsible. KEK had cancelled this procurement activity, with the reason there were no responsible bids from economic operators. After his tender had failed, KEK early in 2023 has announced another tender for the commitment of a legal company, but this time with negotiated procedure, without publication of the contract announcement. To sign this tender, KEK has invited the negotiation company namely, the Rejep Zeqiri Zejari/Zefarı, in which shareholder Isuf Zamena, the person who was chief chief Krasniqi's lawyer in two cases when he was interviewed by Kosovo Police.
On April 19th 2023, Kosovo Energy Corporation chief Nagip Krasniqi was arrested at the Kosovo Special Prosecutor's order under suspicion of committing criminal acts: Misuse of official position or authority; exercise of influence, and conflict of interest. He has been entrusted with the detention measure for even two months by the Constitutional Court in Pristina. For Krasniqi's arrest, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti had attacked the Prosecution.
We know there's been a lot of chief chiefs in KEK in the past and mindless abuses, but they were never investigated by the prosecution. The prosecution is diligent in this case, when KEK's profit in 2022 was 107m euros. The zeal of the prosecution to deal with deposits, and facts, and evidence of previous abuses is zero, while the zeal to deal with the chief chief who brought 107m euros in profits was maximum”, Kurti said during a session in the Parliament.
“I have no doubt that there is a negative political mood in the State Prosecutor's Office towards our government, to the new powers emerging from the February elections of”, the prime minister added./Periscopi/
