Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said Sunday that Russia's war, now in the 16th month, has left at least 500 Ukrainian children dead.
Zelensky has made these statements, following the operation of extracting a two-year-old body from ruins that died Saturday in the Ukrainian town of Dnjipro as a result of Russian attacks.
Ukrainian President, has said by a statement that, the Russian <x0arms and hate, which continues to take and destroy the lives of Ukrainian children every day”, has killed hundreds of children from the start of the war on February 24, 2022.
“Most of them could become renowned scientists, artists, sports champions, or contribute to Ukrainian history”, he said.
Zelensky has said it is impossible to know the exact number of children who have died because of the ongoing conflict, and because some Ukrainian territories are now under Russian occupation.
