Serbia must stop its activities aimed at destabilising Kosovo to end violence in the country's north, Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani said on Thursday.
“The challenge comes from Serbia, a country that has yet to be reconciled to its past,” Osmani told Reuters during the tenure in Moldova, forwarded Periscope.
The “Situate is tense, but we have to make sure that we restore the rule of law in Kosovo and understand that the threat stems from denying Kosovo's existence as a sovereign state on the part of Serbia. ”
Osmani said Serbia is actively supporting “illegal structures” in Kosovo to destabilise the country from within.
“President Vuciq must stop supporting criminal gangs if he really wants peace”, she said. “He hasn't shown this yet. ”
