Successful heart transplant from a dead donor is a historic operation by which isu gave a new chance for life to a 54-year-old patient. It was accomplished in 2021 at the height of the pandemic and under very difficult conditions.
Modern cardiosurgeon operations began 20 years ago when Dr. Jean Mitrev has been conducted the first autotransplant operation as a revolutionary operation in the medical treatment of cardiac patients, and further Dr. Mitrev continued with artificial heart implantation, which began to apply in 2020 and is also a lifesaving method.
