A Police Officer Suspended in Mitrovica

Kosovo police have suspended a police official in South Mitrovica on Saturday.

The news has revealed the Kosovo Police Inspectorate through a media communique.

The report states that the police official (of the Fast Response Unit) Ration Directorate of South Mitrovica is suspected of unauthorized photography or recording.

“The investigators have taken some investigative actions, while as part of the administrative procedures, in addition to the investigation being conducted by the police official has been suspended”, the communique said.

The IPK has declared that its investigators will continue to take further investigative actions towards the full lighting of this case, in consultation with the competent prosecutor and in line with the legal authorization of the Police Inspectorate.
