Genc Nimandbegu, one of the newly elected Albanian deputies to represent Albanians in Montenegro's parliament.
As the newly elected MP, he provided an interview for “Review” at Euronews Albania, where he said Albanians would already have a bigger representation in Montenegro's parliament because with competition on two lists managed to win more MPs.
Nimangu also said he and other Albanian deputies are expecting and seeking support on the issues affecting Albanians -- from Kosovo and Albania -- as he said it has been missing before.
It's a pleasure to finally have an extra matae in Albanian sex. We've competed on two lists and will have a greater number of Albanians than before. These elections have witnessed tectonic movements with Montenegro's internal policy.
We will now have a complete new balance on Montenegro's policy after three years of political evaporation and with sincere or insincere coalitions, church influence may be given the opportunity to form a more stable government. We expect support from Kosovo and Albania, as we have not had support before from Albania, and I hope that this will change” -- Genc Nimanbeg told Euronews.
