Following the expulsion of the Kosovo Army from NATO exercise, “Defender Europe 23”, Krasniqi has said that the European Union has now confirmed a series of sanctions for the country.
All of this, according to him, comes from an adventure government that has chosen confrontation with allies, after failing in any sector through noncompetent government.
With his actions, this irresponsible prime minister is placing Kosovo on the map of sanctioned countries where only Russia, Belarus, Moldova and Republika Srpska are part of Europe. Is it possible for all of them to be hurt by Albin Kurti alone? Of course it's not possible and wrong here is Prime Minister Kurti”, he wrote.
We all know what challenges our country has faced since its liberation, to achieve its declaration of independence, to institution building and development. We have made this successful journey thanks only to close coordination and support from our strategic allies, at the helm of which are the United States of America. While, now and over two years of government by Albin Kurti, in addition to the stagnation and degradation in every realm of life, Kosovo is also experiencing sanctions from its friends. In this challenging period for the country, the leadership of the Democratic Party of Kosovo has been constantly on the ground, co-operating with our membership and citizens throughout the country, who are concerned with the serious situation in Kosovo”, Krasniqi has continued.
Based on recently held meetings, chairman of The PDK says citizens are concerned with the mentality of this government, which he has assessed autocratic.
“Krahas these over 150 meetings in Kosovo villages and cities, I have also held meetings in Pristina with representatives of the academic world, civil society, acts of public life, with media representatives, representatives of education and health sectors and many other sectors who are concerned with this autocratic mentality of governance and with international isolation undergoing our country”, Krasniqi has announced.
After these numerous consultations and consultations Monday, I have invited the PDK Steering Council meeting to discuss the serious situation in the country and the road ahead. Above all, the decisions and actions that this challenging period calls for. The situation is not normal and we cannot simulate normality. Citizens need clarity at this time of confusion. And one thing is clear: Kosovo cannot remain hostage to the whims of Albin Kurti”, it has finally written.
