Government defends Krasniqi arrested with argument that KEK's profit increase

At the extraordinary parliamentary session, they have competed with each other on who is protecting their former associate, who was arrested last week.

Opposition Says Power Has a Big Challenge

And the chairman of PDK, Memli Krasniqi, has been surprised at the protection power is making to Krasniqi.

He said something like that never happened.

I consider that the topic we're gathering for is important to citizens because we're talking about allegations of staggering abuses that are not surprising in the energy sector. Today's parliamentary session has been called at the request of opposition deputies for parliamentary debate over the arrest of Kosovo Energy Corporation chief Nagip Krasniqi. The latter, under suspicion of three criminal acts, was arrested last week. Later, the court has assigned the detention measure for 30 days.
