Israeli-Palestinian tensions rose after an Italian tourist was killed and five others were injured after a pedestrian press at Tel Aviv on 7 April. This event took place after a gun attack on the occupied West Coast, where two Israelite sisters were killed.

“We call on all sides to show maximum restraint, avoid escalation and further and promote calm during religious holidays”, he added.
During this month there are several religious festivals, such as the sacred month of Ramadan, the Jewish Passover, and the Christian Passover.
