Djukanovic: Montenegro heading towards Serbian nationalism

Montenegro's outgoing president, Milo Djukanovic, who also resigned as leader of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), has indicated that his country is heading down the path of Serbia's <x1 minimumism”. “We believe that we led Montenegro at a time when it was expanding into new orientation segments [...]
“We believe we led Montenegro to a time when it was extending to new segments of orientation of Montenegrin society's values. We're proud of that. We believe our value system is superior and that Montenegrin society has the right to make seasonal movements, as it does after August 30th. Montenegro is rushing its path towards Serbian nationalism. But we understand that in the life of society and man, cycles are possible, some better, some bad. We should be persistent in achieving state-political importance”, Djukanovic said, Nova reports.
He stressed that there is no serious alternative to what he has shown DPS, but they respect citizens' opinion.
We took a new step by deciding to withdraw from the post of president after twenty-five years of leading the party, which I am proud of. It's not my success, but the success of the policy I personified”, Djukanovic stressed.
