Focusing on their reporting was former President Hashim Thaci, for whom accounts of his political activity have been published in Belgrade media.
The N1 television network reports that Hashim Thaci, known as “Gjarpri”, was among the main founders of the KLA in 1992 and its political leader until the end of the war.
He was a member of the People's Movement of the Republic of Kosovo (LPRK) from 1983 to 1993, meanwhile, from 1990 to 1993 was the leader of students at Pristina University.
Because of his activity, Milosevic's prosecutors and judges had condemned Thaci and Adem Yasar in a court process held in Pristina.
Serbia's “Court in Pristina, in 1997, condemned Hashim Thaci and the group of KLA members in charge of Adem Yasar with many years in prison because of the criminal acts of terrorism”, N1 reported.
N1 is among the largest media in Serbia and is opposition television towards the power of current Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
