Today the 58-year-old girl who was killed yesterday in Pec is buried

Family has announced that the funeral will take place at the city cemetery at 5:00.

Tragicly, he passed away at 14,04,23, at the age of 58, leaving us forever in grief. The burial of the deceased takes place in 15,04, 1923, at the city cemetery. The funeral departs from the deceased's home, King Zog-Captain, No.85, at 17:00x1>, says the announcement.

The case was confirmed yesterday by Police spokesman for the Pec Region Driton Rugova.

“Today around 4:00 p.m. police have received information on the “King Zog” in Pec, once they reach the scene, we have seen that it is a serious murder as the victim's death was confirmed by the guard team”, Rugova said.

Basic Prosecutorship officials in Pec have described the case as quite serious.

The case prosecutor, Sahide Gashi, has indicated that “allegedly his son was deprived of his mother's life”.

“We have come to the scene, along with the forensics team, all traces have been isolated, all evidence has been collected. We have ordered the autopsy of the deceased”, prosecutor Gashi said.

According to her, close witnesses have also been provided.

We've tried to question the suspect, in front of the protector, but he hasn't been able to answer. We have ordered tomorrow, in presence of both the psychologist and the defense attorney, to prove his” statement, prosecutor Gashi stressed.

She added that under the circumstances, they would also order the examination of the suspect at the Forenzie Psychiatry Institute.

However, neither police officials nor prosecutors have provided specific clarifications on how and by what means the criminal act of the murder has been committed. Also, they have not provided any clarification as to what are the alleged motives for criminal acts, saying the case is still in the phase of the investigation.

Without confirmation of the relevant organs for the tragic crime in Pec, the media have reported on reasons that may have prompted the young man to take his mother's life.

In their statements, citizens have said the murder could be linked to the separation of the suspect from his wife, for whom he accused his mother.

As reported, the suspect reportedly lived abroad and had recently returned.

Residents also said he was a narcotics user and divorced twice.

“The citizens provided information say the boy had been abroad for several months and recently returned to Pec. The first doubts are about a marriage relationship the boy had with a girl. He accused his mother that she was responsible for breaking up with his wife. Citizens have said he was a user of narcotics and was twice married”.

From 2010 to December 1, 2022, 50 women have been killed in Kosovo.

Organizations for human rights protection have, in some cases, blamed authorities for failing to protect violent women.

In most cases, homicide authors were husbands, then fathers and sons.
