Von der Leenen: The Franco-German proposal is on the table with the guide, we expect constructiveity from Kurti and Vucinq

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti since the last meeting in Brussels has expressed his readiness to sign the Franco-German proposal. Kurti has the same attitude for the March 18th meeting, which will be held in Ohrid, where he is expressed ready for signing, while the Serbian president has continued with his statements that he will allow Kosovo's entry into the UN and that there will be no recognition of Kosovo from Serbia.
However, expectations by the international community for this summit are high. Dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia has also been on Friday's meeting between US President Joe Biden and European Commission President Ursula von Der Leyeen.
Der Leeyen after his meeting with Joe Biden has stressed that both Brussels and Washington fully support the negotiations process.
Asked about the Franco-German proposal, German politician has said that the parties already have that proposal on the table along with the guide and how to implement it and that they expect Kosovo and Serbia to show constructive in the process.
“Proposal is already on the table and there is a guide on how to get there. We expect both sides to engage constructively,” has said von Der Leyen before journalists.
