According to him, throughout the history of this institution are only three years of losses, while over the next 20 years, he has said, the Trust has had only positive balance.
The Trust's deputy director shows that declines in financial markets have started immediately after the start of the war in Ukraine, and as a result, 2022 has closed with minus 118m euros.
That period is named normal because of the movement of markets and compares it to the previous year when profits amounted to over 227m euros.
So the year 2022 is where it's mostly discussed and there's been bomb news that it's been lost, this loss we're talking about at financial standards is called negative return or incomplete loss, so we haven't achieved the profit we've been pursuing. The year 2022 ended with a negative return of 5.5%. So it is true that we have a negative return or loss of over 118m euros, but a year ago in 2021 we had a record value of investment returns since the founding of the Pension Trust”, has added Krasniqi to others.
The year 2022 is not the only year in Trust history that has closed with losses. In 2008 the stock value had dropped from 320m to 90m euros, as well as in 2018 the weight loss of Trust shares was above 5%.
