Serbian Minister: I expect Kosovo to fulfil everything it has signed, Association must be formed

Then why sign an agreement if not? We expect authorities in Kosovo to fulfill what they have signed. Without this, there's nothing to talk about. The UN is firmly behind it, the EU and the US. After that, we can talk further. The U.S. cannot afford to play like Kurt is doing. The Brussels agreement has been signed by both sides”, Vesic emphasises and adds that Kurti is implementing tactics to create instability so that there are fewer Serbs in Kosovo.

Vesic adds that it is necessary to be unique in preserving national interests.

Kosovo's “Albanians have an interest, but also great powers. There is no eternal friendship and hostility in politics, there is only interest. This is exactly why we need to be united, because otherwise they will use our divisions. We must see that our interests are realized without entering into conflict with the whole world. Serbia should not allow this to happen”, Vesic has explained at a guest presentation on Serbian Blic television.

Opposition statements that the signing of the European proposal is betrayal Vesic comments as “false pathriotism”.

It's not true patriotism if you don't offer any solutions. They only debate and offer no solution to the problem”, Vesic says.

Speaking of the new People's Movement, whose establishment has been warned by Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, Vesic says mobilisation is needed to protect national legitimate interests when it comes to Kosovo.

The aim of the movement is to protect Serbia at the moment when Kosovo's future is discussed. This does not mean that all those who are members of the movement agree on political issues. The purpose is to unite them all. which Serbia views as a stable, free state, which must meet all challenges, taking care of national interests”, Vesic adds.
