While having a message for citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Blinken said Dodik is walking on the authoritarian road like Russia's Putin.
Milorad Dodik's “ulmet on fundamental rights and freedoms in Republika Srpska show he is on President Putin's authoritarian path. The State Department, represented by Ambassador Murphy, continues to contribute to the democratic and prosperous future that all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina deserve”, Blinken wrote on Twitter.
Under the direction of Milorad Dodik, Republika Srpska has adopted a host of laws that directly affect basic human rights, including those of marginalised communities.
The same has taken deeply hostile action by severing ties with the United States.
