The Mitrovica municipality has announced tender for “Emergency Interventions for Natural Disasters and other disasters or disasters that could be classified as extreme by the major forces”.
The duration of this contract is 36 months, while its projected value is 400,000 euros.
The deadline for accepting tenders is April 3rd, 13:30 through E-Platform, and then the economic operator will be selected with the lowest price offer.
Mitrovica municipality deputy head Arian Tahiri said this tender has been announced for interventions to precede future flooding.
The damage during the January floods has amounted to 8m euros in Mitrovica. The report on the details and amount of damages has been approved in the municipal assembly. For this, Tahiri says they are awaiting compensation from the government.
“Based on the report drafted in the municipal assembly, the value is 8m euros. There is also the report of Bosniaks ' neighborhood under the management of the South Town. The damage report has been approved in the municipal assembly, and we now expect compensation for damages from the Kosovo government. The tender has been announced for interventions to precede future floods”, Tahiri said.
As a result of the floods, on January 19th, Mitrovica had declared a state of emergency. That same day, Mayor Bedri Hamza.
