Defence Minister Armend Mehaj has remembered the 81st demonstrations at their 42nd anniversary.
Mehe says 42 years ago the great national spring began with student demonstrations, which marked the crucial turn at Kosovo Republika's request.
“Today 42 years ago, the great national spring started in Pristina with student demonstrations marking the crucial turn at the request of Kosovo”.
“were students, workers and all the lyrical people led by the vision and ideal for the self - determination of the national union and resistance, Baca Adem Demacci, who began the resistance, which culminated in the KLA's armed struggle, led by legendary Commander Adam Jashari”.

Mejaj, among other things, says the Kosovo Army develops and strengthens for days on the ideals of these protests.
“Over these ideals, the Kosovo Army, we develop and strengthen every day to protect the value of sacrifice, defeat, sweat and blood of all generations. Eternal glory and gratitude for the fallen and surviving heroes of the historic Spring of 1981” wrote Mehaj on Facebook.
