The US, France, Germany and Italy called in late January to freeze Kosovo's accession process until authorities in Kosovo show constructiveity in dialogue with Belgrade, that is, until the formation of the Serbian Communist Association. Since then, the topic of Kosovo's application has not been on the agenda of the Committee of Ministers, which meets every Wednesday.
In Strasbourg, where the headquarters of the Council of Europe is located today, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who in a conversation with European officials, has sought support for membership in the Council of Europe but also for Kosovo's integration into the European Union.
Kosovo submitted an application for admission to the Council of Europe in May last year and a requirement for EU membership in December.
