Corruption Prevention Agency Director Yll Buleskaj says the wealth declaration is continuing with the old avaz, leaving for the last day.
Buleskaj said those who do not declare the property will be fined up to 500 euros.
So far around 2,500 officials have declared property from about 5 thousand who are in charge, but there are another 30 percent who have begun to complete the form, because now we've put electronic property declaration into operation and we're at the event where officials are meeting this form. We expect that even this other group of about 1,000 or 400 officials will soon complete. Unfortunately, still the old ava where property claims are carried out in recent days, while the deadline for property statements is Friday, we still have a very large number of those who haven't declared property”, he said.
He added that long - term failure is also causing problems, as big mistakes are being made during the completion of the form in recent moments.

This approach to work leads to a problem that these officials may have in the future, because by filling out the form in the last few moments, many mistakes are being issued that could then have major consequences, either in criminal charges, which could end up in the Prosecutor”, he said.
The new law, which envisions and regulates the way the property is declared, has meant that each official who does not declare it in time accepts a mandated fine. We're believing that in the first week of April all those officials who don't do it in time will get a fine which is up to 500 euros, or 30 percent of their salary. And then you are given an additional 15 days to hand over the form of property declaration. After that time all these cases with automatism will be passed to Prosecutor”, Buleskaj told EO.
