Today, there have been 24 years since the massacre in the Mitrovica market, where there were victims and hundreds of injuries.
On March 13th 1999, Serbian forces threw grenades into the crowded market, leaving seven people dead and over 120 people injured.
Sabetin Uka, is the survivor who was walking the market streets 24 years ago, where crossing that road left him with consequences.
He lost one leg until he seriously lost the other in the wake of the explosion of a grenade thrown by Serbian forces.
