“in this case, the Ministry of Justice has stated that they have rejected the Constitutional Court's decision and are required to reform the Prosecutorial Council to eliminate interest groups and those of corruption. This is not a fair approach and does not respect the independence of the judicial system”, the AVONET communiqué says.
AV ONET has asked the Ministry of Justice to respect the Constitutional Court's decisions and respect the independence of the judicial system.
“AVONET urges the Ministry of Justice to respect the Constitutional Court's decisions and respect the independence of the judicial system. To build a fair and equal society, it is necessary for all state institutions to have independence and to be separated from political and economic interests” is said in communique.
