Four Albanians arrested in Europe, of what they are accused

4 Albanians arrested in Europe have been extradited to our country.

They have already been extradited to our country, where they will suffer punishment.

Meanwhile, as a result of co-operation between Interpol Tirana and European counterparts, they were caught and arrested temporarily, as well as procedures for the extradition of three other citizens.

Co-operation with counterparts comes for the capture and extradition of citizens declared in search of various criminal acts.

In Kosovo it was captured and extradited to our country, a 53-year-old, sentenced to 7 years in prison, as an accomplice in a drug trafficking case in 2017.
In Germany, a 40-year-old prisoner was targeted for extradition, after being found in 2017 at 211kg of cannabis narcotics.
In Greece, an extradition of a 30-year-old, accused of possession of narcotic cannabis, residence and vehicle, has been deliberately seized;
In France, the extradition of a 47-year-old, sentenced to prison for criminal work “Dhuna in the family” has been targeted.

-As a result of co-ordination of information between Interpol Tirana and Kosovo police authorities, it has been arrested in Kosovo and extradited to Albania, citizens Besim Gashi, 53, born and inhabited in Kosovo, after the Court of the Judicial District of Lezha has sentenced him to 7 years in prison for criminal work “production and selling narcotics”, conducted in co-operation, of which they have remained to serve 4 years, 1 months and 14 days in prison. This citizen has been convicted as an accomplice in trafficking a amount of narcotics seized during a police operation conducted in 2017 in the village of Birle, Lezha.

Also, as a result of the co-operation between Interpol Tirana and European counterparts, they were caught and arrested temporarily, as well as procedures for extradition to our country, citizens:

Alban Memaj, 40, born in Vlora, sentenced to 1 year in prison by the Vlora Court of Appeals, for criminal work “production and selling narcotics”, since in 2017, in his apartment, in the area called the Cold “”, police found and secuestro 211kg of cannabis;

C., 30, born in Tepelena, whose Gjirokastra Appeal Court has assigned security measure “Arrest to prison “for criminal work “Producing and selling narcotics”, after last year's March 23rd as a result of checks exercised in residence and in the vehicle of this citizen, police services found and seized a amount of narcotics from the cannabis;

Gevahir Kuci (Kuki), 47, born in Puka, sentenced to 1 year in prison by the Shkodra Appeal Court for criminal work “Dhuna in the family”
