Her comments follow reports that China has drafted a <x0 peace plan” to end the war in Ukraine, and that Chinese President Xi Jinping is planning to hold a “peace statement” on Friday's conquest anniversary.
If true, this would mean that China is trying to position itself as a peace mediator.
