Kurti has said that in this process he will be committed, constructive, principled and creative.
According to him, the current status of Kosovo-Serbia relations is not normal, so he has said that mutual recognition is needed, as core and reciprocity as principle.
“Report with Serbia we attended meetings and talks in Brussels every time we were invited. We've welcomed the special officials from the West every time they come. We have been and will be devoted, principled, constructive, creative. Dialogue in Brussels is the dialogue for normalising relations with Serbia, is the dialogue on the status of relations. The current status of relations is not normal, and normal status is that of good European neighbourhood, so mutual recognition as core and reciprocity as principle”, Kurti said at the 50th meeting of the Council General of Vetevendosje Movement.
At the invitation of the EU, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, will meet in Brussels on Monday to discuss the continuation of the European proposal-based dialogue.
EU Emisari Miroslav Lajcak has indicated that they expect the two sides to eventually declare themselves in favour of this proposal Monday, until he said that further discussions on the contents of this proposal will not be allowed, which has led him to the “mer format or leave”.
