The United States has welcomed Kosovo's decision to accept in principle the European proposal for normalisation of reports with Serbia.
According to US Ambassador to Pristina Jeff Hovenier, the “interim agreement” will benefit Pristina and Belgrade.
“The US is encouraged and welcomes Kosovo's decision to accept in principle the EU proposal, and we will continue to offer our full support for the EU-brokered dialogue. The interim agreement will bring considerable benefits both to Kosovo and Serbia”, he wrote in Titter.
On February 6th, after a meeting with the European Union's envoy for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, said he accepts the European bloc's proposal.
