Turkey has been hit by a powerful earthquake that, according to the American geology service, has gone up to 7.8. The shocks happened last night.
The situation in the hit regions is alarming with some buildings that have already collapsed, but it is still not known what damage to people may have caused.
A heavy video was published in Turkish media this morning.
A citizen in ruins in Hatay made a video on his cell phone and called for help.
Turkey's President Recep Tayip Erdogan has reacted after the powerful earthquake that has shaken several cities there.
Erdogan has written that rescue teams are at the scene and that everything is being done to cope.
“We hope that together we will pass this disaster as quickly as possible and with less damage and continue our work”, Erdogan wrote.
