Since the February 6th earthquakes, according to Turkey's natural disaster agency, there have been over 9,000 afternoons, Euronews writes.
Almost 530 thousand people have been evacuated only from earthquake-affected areas in Turkey.
Turkey on February 24th also indicated that it has started initial work on rebuilding homes destroyed by earthquakes.
Over 160 thousand buildings with 520 thousand apartments have collapsed or been severely damaged by the February 6 earthquakes.
Turkish President Rexhep Tayip Erdogan has pledged to rebuild all houses within a year, even though experts have warned authorities should cost more importance to building safety than to the speed of their construction.
