Biden has said the US welcomes the fact that Serbia has backed the European Union's proposal for normalisation of reports with Kosovo.
According to the American president, such a proposal will contribute to the creation of a peaceful and promotional future for the region.
“In next year, the United States will continue to support Serbia's path towards membership in the European Union and dialogue on normalising relations with Kosovo under EU auspices. We welcome your support for the European Union's proposal for normalisation, which will contribute to the creation of a more peaceful and prosperous future for the region”, Biden wrote.
