The Albanian government has approved 1m euros in aid to the earthquake in Turkey at this week's meeting. The aid goes to contribute to reconstruction of areas affected by the devastating earthquake.
On the Turkish show dedicated to collecting donations for the earthquake, Prime Minister Rama donated on behalf of Albanians the 1mm euro sum.
“We will not forget what President Erdogan did for our country in the 2019 earthquake. We will be with the Turkish people. We as an Albanian people want to donate 1m euros”, he said.
