Political analyst Wisar Ymer, who said it is paradoxical that with budget growth, citizens are becoming poor.
“E we have a paradox, the budget is growing, this is also growing because of formalism, I accept this government job, but it's not the main factor. While citizens are claiming they are becoming poor, according to the UNDP”, he said.
Ymer quoted the UNDP report, saying that “in 2021 the percentage of citizens who have saved more than 200 euros in food items has been 38% has increased to 47% in 2022, has become 59% in 2023 148x1>.
According to him, increasing inflation has also decreased the quality of life of part of Kosovo's citizens. Ymer stressed that the inflation issue has not been addressed properly by the Government of Kosovo.
For maintaining the same quality of life, all these families have to have the same pay raise that didn't fall on you and that percentage was saved just for spending. If food expenses increase, the quality of life is affected. This is about the impact of inflation, which is not government address. The lives of citizens are poor, even because of the budget. T VSH is consumer tax, everybody pays T V SHN... when they pay the T V The same cost you life more expensive than those with higher revenues”, he said.
Ymer said the government has made no difference in fiscal policies, but that, according to him, there has been a better management than past governments.
